Beam post-tensioning

With post-tensioned beams, we suggest the use of the C range system, because of the following characteristics:

• use of 13mm and 15mm strands of all grades (1,770 or 1,860 MPa) including galvanised strands or greased sheathed strands;
• prestressing units holding from 3 up to 55 strands; for specific projects they can hold even more than 55 strands;
• the system can be used in internal or external prestressing for concrete, steel, timber or brick structures;

In Romania, the standard IPTANA beams are currently assembled on site and stressed using the C-range system from Freyssinet.

Advantages:

• compactness;
• efficient installation;
• easy delivery - for the connection and post-tensioning that takes place on site, beams can be provided in 2 or more pieces;
• price.
